Oink and Moo Food Truck Wins No. 2 in The Daily Meal’s 101 Best Food Trucks in America 2017

Oink and Moo, a food truck that has operated in New Jersey since 2012, is making big news! The truck is known throughout NJ towns like Hoboken and Asbury Park, but after expanding to Philadelphia, it won a Vendy award for Rookie of the Year. Now, The Daily Meal has rated Oink and Moo the No. 2 best food truck in the United States. The food is straight up BBQ—beef brisket or pulled pork sliders, chili, tacos, quesadillas, and ribs.

The Hyatt Regency San Francisco top floor lounge has undergone a transformation introducing new high rise windows with 360 panoramic views designed by Looney & Associates.

The renovation was inspired by the San Francisco Bay and city skyline with modern architecture being reflected throughout the lounge.

This year, voting is limited to one ballot per email address and voters must vote in at least 10 categories. The ballot has been prepopulated with past winners and nominees, as well as regional favorites, but feel free to write in your own! The ballot will be updated as new names are added. VisitPITTSBURGH has developed a fun promotional campaign to get locals more involved with its “Pittsburgh. Mighty. Beautiful.” theme and tagline. The organization kicked-off the “Mighty. Beautiful.” campaign and contest at its Annual Meeting luncheon by asking attendees to think of a third word to describe the city, e.g. Mighty. Beautiful. Welcoming. Among the words being used to describe Pittsburgh were: Inspiring. Proud. Reinvented. Welcoming. Legendary. Innovative.

Emerging Sales Professionals’ Sixth Symposium Scheduled in Bellevue in May

Mark your calendars: The Emerging Sales Professionals Association will host its sixth professional development symposium for sales professionals of publicly owned or operated convention and meeting venues on May 3, 2017, at the Meydenbauer Convention Center in Bellevue, Wash. The symposium, called ESP6, will co-locate with the International Association of Venue Managers Region IV Conference.
