OK, I admit it. I’m a bit of a Scrabble nerd. Words with Friends is my go-to procrastination app. And I’m just enough of a word geek that I get excited when I hear my dictionary buzz me each morning at 8:03 with the word of the day. Visitors can experience (virtually, of course) walking on the Space Needle’s outer halo, flying a seaplane above Lake Union, soaring over Seattle or bungee jumping from more than 52 stories.

Formerly the Lake Grill, the new restaurant, The Cutwater, offers a locally inspired menu, including its famous huckleberry pancakes made with huckleberries foraged from local mountains and the Huckletini, a cocktail creation of vodka, Cointreau and local huckleberries.
