This summer, Thompson Hotels’ first Pacific Northwest property opened its doors at First Avenue and Stewart Street in Seattle. A 12-story luxury hotel, Thompson Seattle features 158 guest rooms, eight corner studios and two suites, as well as Puget Sound and Olympic Mountain views. The hotel also includes the full-service restaurant, Scout; the rooftop bar and lounge, The Nest; business and fitness centers; and more than 5,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor event space. Guests are treated to complimentary Wi-Fi, private car and limousine service, and concierge services.

Meeting rooms with floor-to-ceiling windows can accommodate up to 150 guests, while the rooftop lounge can accommodate up to 250. Scout includes The Cabin, a semiprivate, open-air dining area which comfortably seats groups of up to 20.

Two adjacent buildings at the intersection of SW Park and Alder streets in Portland, Oregon, are coming together to form one sophisticated hotel. Purchased by Provenance Hotels and NBP Capital, the two historic properties, the Cornelius Hotel and the Woodlark Building, are being reimagined as the new hotel, The Woodlark. Construction on the 150-room hotel began in November and is scheduled to be completed in March 2018.

If your company holiday festivities' guest list includes spouses, partners and children, the Northwest has numerous family-friendly venues that will make everyone feel welcome. Here are just a few:
