The Marriott Waterfront, Seattle, recently unveiled its updated lobby space with new furnishings, artwork and technical capabilities. The hotel also began a new promotion for meeting planners as a welcome to the new space.
“We want our hotel to be an extension of its breathtaking location,” said general manager, David Dolquist. “From the décor with its picture perfect views to the marketplace cuisine to the friendliness of our staff, the Seattle Marriott Waterfront represents the best of Seattle. Whether gusts are here on business or leisure, we want them to enjoy an authentically local experience.”
The lobby is now outfitted with a large blown glass statue representing Seattle sunsets, as well as a new fireplace. The meeting planner promotion includes an iPad giveaway to meeting planners who book groups with 75 rooms over select value days. The meetings must be booked by Sept. 30, 2014 and take place before May 31,2015.
