Steve Olson, principal of Parlor Billiards and Spirits in Bellevue, Wash., is introducing a new entertainment-slash-event space on the west side of the 520 bridge. Called Parlor Live Seattle, the new venue is located at 1522 Sixth Avenue in downtown Seattle and will focus on comedy acts.

Featuring a full-service, two-level lounge and dining room, the venue is expected to open on June 1 and will host one show each evening with two nightly headliners Thursdays-Saturdays. Parlor Live Bellevue has showcased such headliners as Kevin Hart and Ralphie May and its little sister promises not to disappoint-already on the calendar are stand-up comics like Mary Lynn Rajskub, Brian Posehn and Bill Bellamy.

In addition to stand-ups, Parlor Live Seattle can host your next sit-down, accommodating private parties of 50 to 400 guests in three private to semi-private event spaces. Boasting a modern urban look and feel, the interiors were designed by Sue Genty Interior Design and feature texturized walls, rich tones, customizable wall projections, a waterfall behind the bar and eight billiards tables (two of which are in one of the private event rooms).  In addition, planners can take advantage of the venue’s state-of-the-art sound system and on-site catering. Hecklers are not included.
