Now your group can enjoy the taste of one of Seattle’s favorite pizzerias at your next event. Tutta Bella Neapolitan Pizzeria—the Northwest’s first Neapolitan pizzeria to be certified by the Associazione Verace Pizza Napoletana— has retrofitted a shipping container to create the D’Asporto mobile food truck. The truck—which was recently blessed by a Catholic priest—includes an authentic Acunto wood-fired oven imported from Naples, Italy, and serves salads and beverages in addition to wood-fired pizzas. Founded in 2004, Tutta Bella has brick-and-mortar restaurants in Seattle’s Columbia City, South Lake Union and Wallingford neighborhoods, as well as in Bellevue, Washington, and Issaquah, Washington.

This past October, the world lost a business and philanthropic giant with the passing of Paul Allen. Here in the Northwest, his absence will be deeply felt. Among his many achievements, Allen co-founded Microsoft; founded Vulcan Inc., Paul G. Allen Family Foundation, Allen Institute for Brain Sciences, and Allen Institute for Cell Science; and was owner of the Seattle Seahawks and Portland Trailblazers. There doesn’t seem to be an industry that he hasn’t touched, expanded and improved, including the meetings and events industry, particularly in the Seattle area.
