Saddle Up to a New Events Venue

Abbey Road Farm has transformed its former horse arena into a rustically chic 860-square-foot tasting room. The space includes a standing bar bedecked in turquoise siding reclaimed from the horse arena, comfortable velvet and leather upholstered sofas, and three sets of French doors that open onto a patio overlooking the property.

Located in Carlton, Oregon, Abbey Road can accommodate groups of up to 200 for a private indoor event. The property features five guest suites located in refurbished grain silos, a three-bedroom guest ranch house, a meeting and conference venue, a winery and tasting room, and a working farm, complete with donkeys, chickens, goats, ducks, llamas and alpacas.

Meeting planners can take advantage of midweek deals for custom corporate meetings in the mountains of Tamarack Resort in Southwest Idaho, two hours north of Boise.

The Whistler Conference Centre is poised to reveal the results of the $3.5 million renovation that was completed in late 2020. The venue has been revived with what’s described as “a contemporary, sophisticated aesthetic, infused with West Coast character and inspired by Whistler’s majestic natural environment.”  Design elements and technical upgrades were the two key focal points of the renovation project.

The Gordon describes itself as an “art-centric” hotel and the description is more than apt. Over 160 pieces of local art from 84 different artists adorn the hotel’s wall, along with 75 additional pieces created by employees of Obie Hospitality.  (The Gordon is the third hotel in Obie Hospitality’s portfolio of unique accommodations, joining Inn at the 5thin Eugene and Inn at 500 Capitol in Boise.)
