The Duniway Portland is launching Vinyl Record Suites to celebrate Record Store Day, an annual celebration of independently owned record stores, on April 13.

These rooms will feature U-turn audio record players with classic records, including The Duniway's Top Five Collections Cases featuring playlists from Ted Wheeler, mayor of Portland, The Duniway General Manager Ryan Kunzer, Jackrabbit's head chef Chris Cosentino and many more.

Other collections include the Abigail Scott Duniway collection, inspired by the property’s namesake change-maker, which features top female empowerment anthems from leading female artists such as Aretha Franklin, Lady Gaga, Beyoncé and Madonna.

All Vinyl Record Suites offer 65-inch Samsung HDTVs with user-friendly StayCast technology, king-size Waldorf Serenity beds with 500 thread-count linens, an in-room Vittoria espresso maker, a mini refrigerator and more.

On September 1, over 1,500 businesses across the country illuminated their buildings with red lights to draw attention to the devastation that the live events and performance art industries have faced as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.

According to a survey commissioned by the American Hotel & Lodging Association (AHLA), frequent travelers feel safer when hotels adhere to AHLA's Stay Safe guidelines, which detail cleaning protocols for hotels during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Through responses to bi-weekly surveys, Global Business Travel Association members have indicated that domestic busines travel is ramping up after months of struggle.
