Seattle Southside Regional Tourism Authority has announced the launch of its revamped website. The update site offers a comprehensive trip planning guide for visitors to Seattle, Tukwila, SeaTac and Des Moines. The guide has quick and easy access to destinations, restaurants, accommodations and more across Seattle Southside.

“This new website provides a powerful and visually compelling look at Seattle Southside as a destination,” says Ashley Comar, vice president of marketing and communications of Seattle Southside RTA. “We’re thrilled to offer a clean and easy-to-use site that group business, events, conferences, conventions and leisure travelers can use to plan their next trip to Seattle and beyond.”

Users of the updated website can browse through attractions and find special deals on parking, hotels, dining and adventures. The "Add to Trip" function adds the user's selections to a customized itinerary and creates a personalized URL that can be shared with fellow travelers.

“This new site truly showcases all there is to see and do in Seattle Southside and provides visitors with an easy way to plan their next visit,” says Katherine Kertzman, president and CEO of Seattle Southside RTA. “Visitors and groups can do and see more due to the destination’s affordability, central location to and from the airport and downtown Seattle, multiple transportation options and unique attractions like the Museum of Flight and the new Seattle Chocolates factory tour. All of this and more is easily found and easily accessible on the new website.”

Comfortable, familiar, and adorned with the color tones and tapestries of Peru, Portland’s Andina restaurant, housed in a historic onetime abattoir and warehouse in the city’s Pearl District, serves up modern Peruvian cuisine.

Built in the vision of streamline modernism and art deco in 1941, the Vogue Theatre has become a hotspot in the heart of Vancouver’s entertainment district—a region known for its progressive hospitality and historic charm. “It’s a national registered historic site in Canada,” says Matt Friesen, general manager of the theater. While it is primarily a concert venue hosting artists such as Steve Lacy and Steve Earle & The Dukes, the Vogue’s nearly 10,000 square feet of space and mission to offer the utmost friendly customer service makes it a perfect venue for your next event.

WeVenture, a national tour operating company, has expanded its offerings to include four Seattle tours that immerse visitors in the city’s vibrant cultural scene. The company, which launched nationally earlier this year, has tours in 10 other U.S. cities including New York City, Miami, Denver, New Orleans, and Los Angeles. The Seattle tours can be an easy and fun add-on to any event in the Emerald City.
