Columbia Hospitality Launches Wellness Program

Columbia Hospitality, a hospitality management company based in Seattle, has launched Work Hard, Play Hard, a wellness program aimed to improve meetings. The program will be offered at Bell Harbor International Conference Center, Kitsap Conference Center and Talaris Conference Center.

The program is aimed to improve participants’ health and happiness through customizable options. Offerings range from creative stations to interactive fitness activities. The program is a bit different for each conference center.

Event Spotlight: Evening of Hope to Honor Bartell Family

The Seattle Hotel Association has selected the Bartell family as the honorees for the 2017 Evening of Hope Gala and Auction, which will take place at the Fairmont Olympic Hotel in Seattle on Feb. 4, 2017. The Bartell family history has deep ties to the community. Bartell’s is the oldest and largest family-owned drugstore chain in the nation and includes 64 locations in King, Snohomish and Pierce counties, providing jobs for more than 1,800 employees.
